I was having connection issues with my WiFi throttle app as it kept dropping connection to the Raspberry Pi, resulting in some rather spectacular runaways. After reinstalling the OS and JMRI the issue persisted I was beginning to loose hope until I finally changed the connection settings, so that the Pi is only expecting one type.of remote connection, and Hey Presto! We now have a lot more reliable control, which means I can actually run trains properly!
