The other type ordered were 'pivoting screw type' which are suitable for those wagons with a central screw hole flanked by two holes either side to fit over lugs (as in Mainline wagons). Because the mount is rigid on these wagons you need a coupling that is flexible in order to negotiate curves. Cleverly these couplings pivot but it does mean that there is a slightly bigger gap between buffers. Again, this type was able to survive the "stress" test mentioned earlier.
