While doing research for the Railway Archive I stumbled across this super photo! Peppercorn A1 heads the Queen of Scots, featuring two new Mk1 Pullmans speeds through Hadley Wood Tunnel (?). I think the loco is 60145 Saint Mungo, but I'm not sure! I love this photo. It's one of the only photo's i've seen taken during the Golden Hour in steam days, and the mix of 1930s K type pullmans, 1949 A1 and 1960s Mk1 Pullman's really shows that times are always changing! Catch you all tomorrow folks 🀘🀘
