#weekendmodelling #weathering #wagons, further weathering of wagons. These are two Bachmann VGA wagons, both bought secondhand as weathered versions. Not sure if factory weathered (more likely), but I generally don't like factory weathering. So, most of the weathering paint being removed from the side panels using IPA (99% alcohol - not the ale variety) and cotton buds. By gently rubbing with a dampened end, the paint gradually is removed. Then further weathering applied using Lifecolor paints, as per the Cargowaggon. I have a few Accurascale wagons to do, but probably get these done next weekend.
